MotoLife is a motorised cycle trainer for the legs that adjusts to whatever movement the patient has. With no active movement the motor pedals for them, and as they get stronger it switches to assisting and then to resisting, across 20 levels. They can use it straight from their own wheelchair.
A 7-inch touchscreen runs the training software and reacts to spasticity automatically. The standard passive speed is 60 rpm, and you can specify 100 rpm for Parkinson's work. It suits home and clinic alike, it's a Class IIa device with a height-adjustable frame, and the accessory list runs from leg supports to children's shoe pedals.
